Wow, tags seem to spread like wildfire, although it may seem that way to me because there are a lot of people that know each other in school. Sometimes I wonder if they just watch each other because they're friends. I could sound hypocritical, but still, I mean it just gets ridiculous when they find someone they know. Feliz Dia del Padre! It was father's day on Sunday, I'm writing this a day late, my time of course. I wasn't on at all yesterday

Finally got a desk for myself, and my sister. So I don't have to work in the kitchen anymore The only downside is that I'm farther away from the food Oh well, its worth the walk (an extra 20 or so steps... I'm lazy...).

I think I finally decided on a topic for NHD. Either Paul Rusesabagina (Hotel Rwanda) or Jacob Riis (photographed child labor during industrializaion).

Is there a new journal layout or something? Because the entire thing confused me today.

I seriously thought I had more options in my journal thing because of the journal enhancements section BUT I GUESS NOT. Oh well. How I wish I had a credit card to get a subscription. x_x Oh well, I can make do until then I think.

Anyway, I just started summer school, and really don't mind it that much. An interesting thing I learned was that the American Civil War was caused by the South wanting to break away from the Union and create its own country. They lied to us in elementary school... DX

I think I may have irritated ~lilman808 a bit on Monday when I kept stopping whenever I saw something pretty while we were walking to my boyfriend's house. And that was a LONG walk. And there were a lot of flowers. So that was a plus... for me.

So expect a small influx of photographs of flowers.

I still have to do a National History Day project, even in summer school. Oh well, I knew it was coming. As of right now, I need someone who made a difference, but isn't really talked about. I was thinking someone in music, literature, or in my state. I can't really think of anyone though.

Did you know that George Washington Carver (he was a black man) invented peanut butter because it was cheap and a good source of protein? It was for his slaved brethren who were starving at the time. Pretty cool huh?
